- All willow is of the highest quality and comes from sustainable, farmed sources. Only full willow which has been treated and varnished for a qualify effect is used. All baskets are handmade therefore the weave may sometimes vary between baskets.
- The table linen supplied is 100% cotton, of a high quality and can be machine-washed at 40 degrees centigrade (104 F).
- The Optima quality range of ceramics carry some of the best known names in English pottery, many with matching mugs and cups.
- Quality leather straps secure the cutlery in the baskets. An exacting hand (manufacturing) process ensures the items are held firm during carriage but easily removable when required for use.
- Juice and wind goblet glassware is manufactured from toughened Duralex glass, where indicated.
- Optima only uses high quality stainless steel or branded plastic Thermos flasks for their baskets.
